A beautifully proportioned vintage Senator armchair by Ole Wanscher for Cado, made in Denmark. This chair is a strong example of Wanscher’s refined Danish modern language: an elegant solid teak frame, softly tapered lines, and a light architectural silhouette that feels both disciplined and inviting. The original Cado badge visible in the frame adds an extra layer of authenticity.
What makes the Senator series so enduring is its restraint. Wanscher was known for translating classical furniture proportions into modern daily living, and that is exactly what this chair does so well.
