Vintage Swedish design secretary desk by Egon Ostergaard, 1960s
Secretary desk finished in wood veneer and produced by Svensk Möbelfabrik. The piece of furniture is characterized by its elegant Scandinavian design and beautifully grained wood with a warm appearance.
The cabinet features a roll-top drawer with a pull-out desk surface behind it, narrow drawers, and letter compartments. The whole offers a practical and organized workspace in a compact form. At the bottom are three spacious drawers with inlaid wooden handles.
A functional and atmospheric piece of furniture suitable as both a workspace and a storage cabinet.
The secretary desk is in neat vintage condition with signs of use appropriate for its age. The roll-top drawer shows discoloration, likely due to having been left open for an extended period.
