Characterful vintage school lamp in Gispen/Philips style, with an original frosted glass shade from the 1920s–30s.
The shade originates from an old school environment (manufacturer unknown) and features the typical layered shape and soft light diffusion so characteristic of early 20th-century school lighting.
The fixture is new, made of patinated brass, deliberately chosen to aesthetically complement the historic glass while simultaneously meeting modern usage requirements (reliable socket and wiring).
Provides warm, diffused light and works excellently above a dining table, in the kitchen, or in a workspace.
Condition:
– Glass: very good, minimal signs of use consistent with age
