Mid-century, vintage, Scandinavian-style, decorative wood fish sculpture, by A. Hiben, from 1977.
This very cool, hand-carved piece, features a sleek organic design typical of the epoch. It has range of brown and blonde-colored hues that contrast beautifully with one another, and a nice lacquered finish (see photos.)
The back is covered with red-colored felt (see photos), so it can be placed on any given surface.
There is an identifying mark on the back, at the top (see photos.)
Piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a lovely patina of time, on the overall structure, edges, and back, as is to be expected for a piece of its age (see photos.)
A great piece of mid-century decor that will compliment any given space, whether placed on a coffee table, sideboard or shelf, depending on where and how one wishes to display it.
All photos taken in both indoor and outdoor natural light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, reflections, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
