Beautiful Swedish Röllakan rug, straight from Sweden.
A Röllakan rug is a traditional, hand-woven rug. This type of rug has a rich history and dates back to the Viking Age. The rugs are known for their sturdiness and durability. Traditionally made with a vertical warp of sturdy cotton and a horizontal weft of 100% wool. Wool naturally repels dirt and is wear-resistant. A unique feature of Röllakan rugs is that the pattern is exactly the same on the underside, allowing the rug to be used upside down as well, which contributes to its durability.
This rug features beautiful geometric designs with a lovely variety of colors. The rug is in very good condition, with only light signs of use.
