Product description
Beautiful rectangular table by Roger Capron (1922-2006), a French ceramist who won numerous awards and is now highly renowned.
Passionate about ceramics, he approached the technique in a variety of ways and surrounded himself with the best craftsmen in Vallauris to create this furniture from the "Les Herbiers" collection.
This Vintage table is designed with glazed tiles combined with garrigue tiles made by pressing plants native to the south of France, which when fired leave a beautifully detailed charred imprint. The artist then sculpts each tile to achieve this impressively realistic result.
This brown-tinted table features a black-painted metal structure.
The geometry and mix of textures underline the creativity of artist Roger Capron. A "CAPRON VALLAURIS FRANCE" stamp appears at top left.
With its autumnal colors and the beauty of its plant prints, this dimensionally perfect coffee table will take pride of place in your home.
