This is a vintage stool, manufactured by the Dutch company Rohé Noordwolde in the 1950s or 60s. The piece is a characteristic example of post-war Dutch design, combining natural materials such as rattan with modern, industrial elements. The seat is skillfully hand-woven from rattan in a spiral pattern, a technique for which Rohé was known.
