DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful vintage Rattan / Rattan Peacock chair from around ca 1970. This chair is mainly known from the movie Emmanuelle: the original 1974 erotic classic with Sylvia Kristel standing naked on this chair on the cover. But originally these chairs were used by the Settlers as a kind of throne between enslaved people.
This chair is made of Rattan which was woven to create this model. It has a comfortable seat, which can be dressed with a cushion. And it has a comfortable backrest that gives a little when you take a seat. In short, a chair with a rich history and a beautiful bohemian look, ideal for any vintage household.

STATE:
Good condition. Some small spots here and there where there is something of damage, this is minimal for the age. on 1 side the black band is stuck with a black tape. The chair is otherwise stable and solid (see last pictures for a better idea of the condition ).

This item can be picked up in Amsterdam but can also be delivered in Belgium from €90 (Ask for a calculation).
