Product description
Handwoven rattan bowl with a polished brass rim, in the style of Gabriella Crespi: open basket weave on the exterior, a radiating spiral base visible from above, wide mouth framed by a rounded brass band. Brick-pattern weave on the sides, slightly asymmetric as characteristic of handmade work. Unmarked.
21 x 8.5 cm.
Very good vintage condition. Age-related patina and light tarnishing on the brass; rattan in very good shape with no breaks or repairs.
