Product description
A unique and rare design by Charlotte Perriand for Philips, Dutch soil: this original Philips heat lamp with red plastic swivel frame is a paragon of 1950s-60s space age design. The iconic convex shade of dark tinted glass emits a characteristic red glow when the lamp is switched on - ideal as mood lighting or as a sculptural object.
The lamp is in good vintage condition with light signs of use befitting its age. The original Philips logo ("Philips Made in Holland") is still present and clearly visible. This lamp is fully functional and can be placed in different directions thanks to the swiveling shade.
