from the Belgian studio Perignem.
This ceramic wall decoration weighs 2.2 kg.
This characteristic relief artwork was handmade in the 1960s,
attributed to the renowned artist
Paul Vermeire.
It displays a beautiful organic floral shape in a distinctly Brutalist style.
Deep dark brown/anthracite glaze with contrasting red glaze accents in relief.
Height = 47 cm
Width = 20 cm
Thickness = 2 cm
Comes from my personal ceramics collection and is in ultimate condition.
The back shows the rough terracotta texture,
characteristic of the studio.
