Product description
This vintage dining set consists of an extendable table and six spindle chairs, produced by Pastoe in collaboration with the Swedish manufacturer Nesto. The set represents a classic example of Scandinavian and Dutch design from the mid-twentieth century, where functionality and a clear design language take center stage.
The chairs are crafted from solid wood and are characterized by the typical spindle back, creating a light and open appearance. The accompanying table features an extendable top with a light surface, finished with a contrasting dark edge. The construction demonstrates the craftsmanship of the Nässjö Stolfabrik, as confirmed by the original markings of both Pastoe and Nesto on the underside of the furniture.
The set is in good, functional condition with an authentic patina befitting its age. The original finish has been preserved, contributing to the character of these historic pieces of furniture.
