This freestanding Pastoe wall unit comes from the iconic Made to Measure series, a modular cabinet system designed by Cees Braakman in the 1950s and 1960s.
This series was known for its flexibility: furniture that could be assembled, adapted, and disassembled entirely according to preference. The cabinet is crafted from wenge wood with a beautiful, warm grain and combines open compartments with closed storage space.
The shelves are adjustable, making the layout easy to adapt. Thanks to the modular design, the furniture is fully demountable and practical for transport and placement. A timeless piece of Dutch design that fits effortlessly into both mid-century and modern interiors.
