Natural Italian Leather Modular Sofa with Sculpted Aero Backrest and Curved Corners
This rare modular sofa was produced in the 1970s by the exclusive French label Ligne J.F. Mur, and is near-identical in design to the Novemila 9000 by Tito Agnoli for Arflex. With its flowing silhouette, deep channelling, and organic curvature, the set embodies the bold and radical design language of 1970s Italy — yet carries its own unique production label, likely the result of a commissioned or licensed regional edition.
The sofa is fully upholstered in high-quality Italian natural leather, which has developed a rich cognac patina over time. The vertical stitched rhythm, rounded corners, and aerodynamic backrest lines accentuate its sculptural presence. The seat cushions retain their original firm foam structure, offering support and comfort without sagging — ideal for both lounging and showcasing.
