Modernist portrait of a ''Woman with Flowers'' from 1953. It is painted by the famous Swedish painter Fabian Lundqvist, who lived from 1913 to 1989. Handwritten image signed and dated in the lower right corner. It is a pastel on cardboard. In an original period frame. Fabian Valentin Lundqvist was born on March 16, 1913 in Malmö, Sweden. He was a Swedish painter and glass designer. He studied at the Skåne Skånska målarskolan painting school in Malmö in 1946 with the Danish German artist and sculptor Harald Isenstein, before moving to Paris in 1948, where he studied with the French sculptors and painters André Lhote and Jean Fautrier (1898-1964). His works are in many private collections in Western Europe..
