A beautiful and authentic hand-painted vintage Spanish studio pottery wall charger/plate, crafted and signed by the renowned Puigdemont workshop in La Bisbal d'Empordà (Catalonia, Spain).
Dating back to the 1960s/1970s, this collectible modernist piece is crafted from traditional Mediterranean redware clay. It features a vibrant, heavily stylized fruit motif depicting hand-painted pears and orchard fruits, beautifully framed by a rich, deep cobalt blue glazed rim. The bold slip-glaze technique and expressive lines are highly characteristic of the coveted mid-century Puigdemont aesthetic.
The plate is in excellent vintage condition with no major chips, cracks, or damage, displaying a wonderful age-appropriate glaze patina. The back prominently features the artist's iconic handwritten cursive signature, along with a secure, built-in twine hanger—making it ready to be displayed immediately as a statement gallery piece on your wall.
