Beautiful vintage mid-century three-legged accent stool featuring a striking contrast between rustic craftsmanship and a bold pop of color. The thick and comfortable padded seat is upholstered in a finely hand-woven Kilim brocade fabric with a geometric vertical stripe pattern. The color palette is warm and natural with cream, olive green, burnt orange and black tones. The lower edge of the seat is elegantly trimmed with original antique brass-finished dome studs. They securely hold the fabric in place while adding a wonderful tactile texture and a timeless retro charm. The structure is supported by three sturdy, cylindrical solid wood legs finished in a vibrant, glossy lacquer red that beautifully showcases the underlying natural wood grain. While appearing rounded from the front, the seat actually features a clever oval or D-shaped silhouette. Thanks to its shallow depth, this compact piece takes up very little space, making it incredibly versatile.
