Vintage Mid-Century Highboard/Sideboard/Jacques Cabinet/Buffet Cabinet | Teak Veneer | 1960s | Scandinavian Style
Beautiful Swedish design vintage highboard from the 1960s with a warm teak veneer finish and a timeless Mid-Century Modern design.
The cabinet has an elegant, minimalist look thanks to the slender tapered legs, recessed handles, and beautiful wood grain. The upper section features two sliding doors with a glass shelf behind them, ideal for storing or displaying tableware, glassware, or home accessories.
The lower section offers additional storage space behind two hinged doors.
Due to the relatively shallow size of the cabinet (only 34-36 cm), it also fits perfectly in a smaller room or hallway.
The cabinet is in beautiful vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for its age. There is a ring on the top (moisture), but this is easy to remedy. The wood has a beautiful warm color and is well preserved.
It is an heirloom from our grandmother; we think it might be by the Swedish designers Dyrlund, Brande Møbelfabrik, or Brouer, as there were other pieces of furniture by them as well, but we cannot say this with certainty here.
