This rare, modernist coffee table was produced by the German manufacturer Ilse Möbel during the 1970s. The large, round top is finished with rosewood in a chestnut shade of brown. It is characterized by rich and interesting grain. The base is a slim, chrome, four-arm leg. The piece of furniture is elegant and functional. The advantage of round tables is that they are less visually engaging, fit in smaller spaces, and the streamlined shape introduces harmony to the interior.
The history of Ilse Möbel begins in 1890 in Uslar near Göttingen. A small plant dealt with woodworking, creating hand-made high-quality furniture from precious wood. The company also produced music equipment, lighting, garden furniture and the Kombi-Lift system, a mechanism that allows for simultaneous height adjustment and unfolding of tables. A wide range of products did not release Ilse Möbel from taking care of the highest quality of workmanship.
The table is in original vintage condition. It has minor signs of age and natural patina. The table does not have the ability to adjust the height. This mechanism does not work properly.
The colors of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colors. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of item in the living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
