Characterful vintage armchair crafted from solid teak with an original rattan seat and backrest. The design exudes the Scandinavian mid-century modern of the 1950s and 60s and is comparable to Danish designs from that period.
The teak frame is in good, solid condition. The rattan seat shows some damage in a few places and is repairable. I have obtained a quote for this from a specialized restorer. Depending on the chosen finish, the restoration costs are indicatively between €165 and €225.
A perfect project for the enthusiast who wants to repair or replace the rattan seat, or for someone who appreciates the 'lived-in' look.
