Large mask with several heads, originating from Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic and composed mainly of solid ebony: hard wood with a plain black color, from this region.It represents a tribal face adorned with various geometric engravings on its surface and a large openwork and chiseled frieze surrounding it. This decorative object is topped with a bearded man's head. On its sides are two discreet female faces, in profile, certainly of African origin. A chain around their necks accessorizes them.the whole rests on a base in lighter wood, formed in a half circle and 2 cm thick.you will contemplate without reserve this object of elsewhere which will be noticed for its finesse of work.
