A richly decorated vintage earthenware Wall decoration in the classic French faience style (Vieux Rouen / Moustiers). The plate dates from the mid-20th century (approx. 1950s) and was originally marketed by the well-known Brussels luxury importer Eldec, whose original paper sticker is still perfectly intact on the back. The plate is entirely hand-painted. Central to the design is a classic woven basket filled with flowers and leaves. The characteristic scalloped edge is rendered in a palette of deep cobalt blue, ocher yellow, and soft terracotta. The back shows handwritten workshop codes (model number 959 and painter's initials). Style: French Faience / Vieux Rouen. Distributor: Eldec (Brussels). Period: Vintage (approx. mid-20th century). Condition: In exceptionally good condition. The glaze shines beautifully, and the plate has no chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. Hanging system: Already equipped with the original hanging cord on the back. Diameter: 25 cm.
