Offered for sale: A beautiful and authentic Japanese artwork (Nihonga style), expertly hand-painted on ceramic. The work depicts two Mandarin ducks (Oshidori), the traditional Asian symbol of eternal love, marital fidelity, and happiness. The artwork is in excellent condition and is framed to a very high standard with a deep purple fabric mat and gold trim. Unique provenance and details: Signature: Hand-signed in the lower left corner by the artist Tsukishiro (月城), including the traditional red lacquer stamp (Hanko). Back: The back of the wooden frame features authentic engraved gold text. This proves that the work was an official business gift from the Japanese company Yasunaga Riken Co., Ltd. to the Association for Textile and Civil Engineering. This gives the object a beautiful, demonstrable historical story. Style: Fits perfectly in a modern Japandi, Mid-Century, or Boho interior.
