Japanese Phoenix dinnerware, crafted from eggshell porcelain in cobalt blue. The depictions on the coffee cups, tea cups, and saucers feature the traditional pattern of Kiku (chrysanthemum in the center) and Kiri (paulownia), with tendrils and leaves surrounding the phoenixes. The Kiku in the center are unusually large for this service, contributing to its unique character. The plates feature a rim with clouds and mountains.
Two saucers bear a "Made in Japan" stamp. Two saucers bear the stamp Dai Nippon "Great Japan". Furthermore, one saucer also bears the stamp Dai Nippon, or "Great Japan," in hatching, and one saucer has no stamp. Dimensions:
