Unique Italian jewelry box from the 1960s, made in Volterra – the city known worldwide for its alabaster art. With original maker's sticker from Romano Bianchi Export, a classic manufacturer that supplied many luxury souvenirs to shops in Rome and Tuscany at the time. Made of solid onyx and alabaster, with a beautiful natural color patina and a hand-painted floral lid. This is not a modern resin look, but genuine Italian stonework that is rarely seen anymore. Perfect as a jewelry box, decorative piece, or gift. A piece of authentic mid-century Italy.
