Inuit Canadian hand-carved seal sculpture figurine made of genuine soapstone from the 1960s. It is presumably an Eskimo Art Esquimau piece.
The seal features beautiful details in the face and flippers, and is depicted as rearing up and turning to the side to observe something, in a very realistic manner. Even the wrinkles in the layer of fat on the skin are carved into the neck.
The seal figurine is in good vintage condition.
Dimensions: 11.5 cm long x 5.5 cm wide x 6.5 cm high.
