A set of four original IKEA 'Vitamin' (later NILSERIK) sit-stand stools, designed by Nicolai Wiig Hansen in 1999. This specific model, which has not been produced for years, has since become a sought-after vintage design item thanks to its distinctive shape and functionality.
The stools feature a striking red fabric seat and a black plastic base. They are designed to encourage an active sitting posture through the slightly flexible base, making them ideal for use at a sit-stand desk. The height is easily adjustable via the gas spring mechanism under the seat, from a minimum of 51 cm to a maximum of 71 cm. The seat has a diameter of 38 cm and the base is also 38 cm deep.
The set is in good vintage condition. The gas spring mechanism of all four stools works properly and the construction is fully intact.
These ergonomic stools fit perfectly in a creative studio, a modern office, or a dynamic home workspace. They combine seamlessly with both vintage and contemporary interiors where functionality and distinctive design come together.
