A beautiful example of the sought-after IKEA "Frän" wall coat rack, designed in the 1980s. This minimalist and functional design is a prime example of the postmodern Memphis and high-tech design of that period. The coat rack is crafted from sleek black coated wire steel, creating an airy and spacious effect in the hallway or entrance. The design bears strong similarities to the well-known minimalist Dutch designs by Pilastro and Tomado from the 1960s and 70s, but with the recognizable playful twist of IKEA from the late twentieth century. The coat rack features an integrated hat shelf and 5 double hanging hooks. Condition: This item is in exceptionally beautiful condition, virtually mint condition. No paint damage or signs of use are visible. The coated layer is completely intact and shines beautifully. A rare, well-preserved example for the serious collector.
