This Hala Zeist floor lamp is a representative example of Dutch design from the 1970s. The design combines a functional aesthetic with the distinctive design language of the Space Age era, resulting in a timeless lighting object.
The lamp is crafted from metal and finished in a dark brown color scheme. The construction consists of a round base, a slender stand, and an adjustable, mushroom-shaped shade. The flexible neck allows the light beam to be directed as desired, making the lamp particularly suitable as a reading lamp. The inside of the shade is painted white for optimal light reflection. The original Hala Zeist brand label is visible on the socket.
