Beautiful corkscrew made of vine wood. These wine openers were widely produced in France in the mid-20th century, so I estimate this one dates from the 1950s (given the patina on the metal of the screw). Because a unique piece of wood with its own twists, curves, and shapes was used for every corkscrew, each corkscrew is one-of-a-kind.
