Beautifully framed maritime lithograph by G. Roux depicting the French frigate "La Didon" from 1828. This framed boat painting was likely created in the 1960s. It has a beautiful black glass mount with a gold border.
This lithograph, based on a painting by Francois Geoffroy, depicts a detailed image of a historic sailing ship at sea.
"La Didon" was a well-known frigate of the French Navy during that period.
