This is a framed lithograph by the Dutch artist Matthieu Wiegman, titled 'The Good Samaritan'. The work displays an expressive, figurative depiction of the well-known biblical scene, characterized by powerful lines and strong contrast. The lithograph is executed on paper and presented in a wooden frame with a mat. The work is signed in the plate and bears a handwritten dedication. The back of the frame features a newspaper clipping from *de Volkskrant* from 2001, providing context regarding the Bergen School, to which Wiegman belonged.
