Fantastic, nice-sized, mid-century, vintage, formica side tableTV stand, with silvery, pale-gold colored trim on four legs, with muti-directional wheels, from the 1960’s.
Features:
- An upper tray made of formica with a "faux wood" effect and a lower shelf with a smaller tray, also made of formica with the same look as the top, as well as a black, slatted, metal section, upon which to place books or other objects.
- Black metal legs on wheels with a brass finish.
- All wheels show signs and marks of usage and a patina of time.
- They are multi-directional and fully functional.
- The tabletop and lower shelf have some minor signs of age and use commensurate with time, but nothing that takes away from the cool look or function of this piece (see photos with a 1 centime coin for perspective.) They both have a nice patina of time, commensurate with age.
- Underneath the tabletop, is pale yellow- colored skaï.
- Minor marks of age and use on the legs and wheels (see photos.)
The design is sleek with nice lines. It can be used for almost anything, from a sideend of couch table in a living room or den, as a t.v. standstereo console, an entryway table, a table for plants or simply a piece upon which to place other decorative objects and will compliment any given environment.
