For sale is a beautiful, original set from the 1970s, consisting of the iconic Falcon armchair (low back) and matching ottoman/stool. Designed by Sigurd Resell and manufactured by Vatne Møbler in Norway. A true highlight of Mid-Century Modern design. - Frame: Bentwood in a natural finish. Absolutely stable and without any structural defects. - Upholstery: Original leather cushions in a warm cognac/light brown tone. The leather is soft, well-maintained, and has a beautiful, authentic patina that emphasizes its vintage character (no deep rips or holes). - Condition: Very good vintage condition. Clean, well-maintained, and ready to use. The canvas suspension and metal eyelets are in perfect working order and are secure. The brown canvas fabric has a slight, age-related fading/stain on the reverse side (see detail image), which in no way affects its stability. The leather has a beautiful patina with light, superficial stains. The wooden frame has some superficial scratches but is structurally sound and flawless. No deep cracks, breaks, or dents.
