Vintage extendable teak dining table, Denmark, 1960s.
Beautiful table. Solid teak leg, beautifully organically shaped. Gracefully designed with a curved leg. The leg is easy to disassemble, making the table easy to transport.
The top has a solid teak edge with inlaid teak veneer. Beautiful warm teak hue with visible wood grain.
The table can easily be extended twice thanks to the smooth sliding system. Two additional panels are hidden under the top, which you slide between the top to extend the table. Handy if you live in a small space and regularly have guests. The table seats 4-10 people.
The table is well-preserved; a cloth has always covered the top, which is clearly visible. There is only a small light spot on one extension panel, see photo. Many matching (Danish) dining chairs are also available.
