A beautiful and rare Dutch ESKAF Huizen handle vase from the late 1920s.
This vase has the characteristic lotus shape with an asymmetrically wavy pouring rim and an elegantly curled handle. The hand-applied drip glaze in brown, cream, and ochre is beautifully accentuated by the typical orange-red decoration, both on the rim and the body.
The vase is a beautiful example of art pottery from the Art Deco / Amsterdam School period.
