Product description
Rare vintage egg-shaped table lamp by Domec Luminaires (France), made of matte white glass. This type of lamp is closely related to the famous glassworks from Vianne, where Domec collaborated with specialized glassworks known for their high-quality lighting in the 1970s and 1980s. The original Domec Vianne sticker is included.
What makes this lamp special is the matte glass combined with its large size. Many Domec lamps you see online are made of clear or speckled glass; this subtle, even matte finish is considerably less common, especially in this size. The diffused glass provides a soft, warm light distribution and makes the lamp both functional and sculptural.
A timeless design object that fits beautifully in a mid-century modern interior, but also works surprisingly well in a calm, contemporary interior where a single, strong object makes all the difference.
👌 Condition: very good vintage condition. Small crack and some light scratches (not distracting) - see last photos.
