A characterful vintage wingback armchair with a high back, comfortable armrests and dark oak legs.
The chair was purchased from quality design furniture specialist KOK Wooninrichting in Amersfoort (Holland) and was sold by KOK as an original Koekoek chair from the famous former Koekoek furniture company in Rhenen. However, there is no branding visible on the armchair.
This is a well-made quality armchair from a reputable Dutch furniture specialist. The upholstery design is “India blue multi”; the chair was professionally reupholstered in 2019.
The chair has a warm vintage look and works well as a reading chair, accent chair or statement piece in a classic, retro, vintage or eclectic interior.
The photo series first shows the chair in natural daylight, followed by several evening-light photos to show how the fabric and shape appear under different lighting conditions. Photos of the back, underside and the chair without the loose cushions are also included, so the condition and construction can be viewed clearly.
An additional loose protective headrest cloth is included, made in the same fabric and style. This can be placed over the top of the backrest.
