For sale is an authentic wall mirror by the renowned Belgian manufacturer Deknudt from the 1960s/1970s.
This model is characterized by its elegantly curved lines, which are characteristic of the Hollywood Regency and Neoclassical style.
The original model number (No. 703.181) is still on the back of the mirror.
The two-tone frame combines a noble dark mahogany-look structure with a gold-colored inner trim. The upper end is crowned by a sculptural motif in the form of a stylized shell.
The mirror is in original condition with a beautiful, authentic patina. The mirror glass is clear and shows no blind spots. The frame is absolutely stable and intact.
The inner gilding shows age-related craquelure (fine cracks in the lacquer) in places, which testify to its age and give it a unique, charming character (see detailed photos).
