Product description
This decorative object from the 1950s depicts a gondolier in a stylized gondola. The design captures the essence of Italian craftsmanship of the era, combining various materials to create a charming scene.
The piece consists of an orange ceramic bowl, forming the gondola's hull, encased in a black metal frame. The gondolier figure is crafted from metal and features textile details such as a hat and clothing. The underside of the ceramic bowl is stamped 'FOREIGN 33A25', indicating that it was produced for export.
The piece is in good vintage condition, displaying an authentic patina commensurate with its age. The materials have retained their original character.
