Bent Lauridsen (born 1926)
Born in 1926 in Copenhagen. A well-known and respected Danish painter.
He graduated from the "Royal Academy of Fine Arts" in Copenhagen during the German occupation of Denmark in 1945. Lauridsen was a private student of Professor Vilhelm Lundstrom until 1947.
Lauridsen made his debut at Artists Free Exhibitions in 1946, and made many study trips to Paris, Italy and Spain, among others.
Lauridsen is famous for painting a series of beautiful post-impressionist works depicting ballet dancers, children, still life and interiors.
His paintings are sold in many famous Auction Houses. The painter is listed on the most important websites devoted to Works of Art.
