Vintage Danish dining room set designed by H. Verstervig Eriksen for Brdr. Tromborggs. H. Vestervig Eriksen was a Danish designer who designed furniture for the furniture manufacturer Brdr. Tromborgs Eftf. His designs are known for their clean lines and functionality, typical features of Danish modernism. An example is a set of six teak chairs with black faux leather upholstery from the 1950s, produced by Brdr. Tromborgs Eftf. Eriksen also designed dining chairs made of solid rosewood, which are highly sought after for their elegant and timeless design. These chairs illustrate the high-quality materials and craftsmanship that characterize Eriksen's work and the production of Brdr. Tromborgs Eftf, see also offered in the advertisement here.
The dining chairs are in restored condition, with the upholstery replaced in its entirety for a new black faux leather. The dining room table is well preserved and has hardly any color difference, which is unique for rosewood. With two extendable tops, the table can be quickly converted to a 240 cm table for as many as 8 chairs!
