English "Eclipse" Coffee Set from the 1960s by Empire Porcelain Pottery
A beautiful and charming vintage English "Eclipse" coffee set from the mid-20th century, designed in 1964 by John Russell, a renowned British ceramicist, for Empire Porcelain Pottery.
The set consists of a coffee pot, 6 coffee cups and 6 saucers, and a sugar bowl. The pattern is typical Mid-Century Modern, with red and orange abstract geometric moon shapes. All in very good condition with minimal signs of age.
They can, of course, be used, but also look beautiful in a china cabinet :)
