Description: A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets date from the 1970s, a time of resurgence for Chinoiserie. This style originated in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and Oriental furniture and objects. Consequently, this type of furniture was produced during the 1970s, meaning no two are alike. All elements are applied by hand, ensuring it always has an artistic touch. The hand-painted lines are clearly visible. It is painted on all sides, even from the top. Birds and flowers are depicted on the front and sides using inlaid soapstone and mother-of-pearl. In short, a beautiful cabinet for an Oriental-style interior.
