Offered for sale: A stunning and distinctive vintage Chinese ceramic garden stool (drum stool), which serves perfectly as a unique side table or plant stand. This striking object is beautifully decorated all around with the iconic celestial Feng Shui animals in high relief: the Dragon, the Phoenix, and the Turtle, surrounded by clouds. The stool features artful openwork (pierced ceramic) and is finished with a white/cream glaze with atmospheric ochre-brown accents in the depth, giving the whole a beautiful antique appearance. Due to the weight and fragility of the ceramic, this item can only be picked up.
