DESCRIPTION:
A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets are from the 70s where there was a revival of Chinoiserie. This style originated in the mid-18th century where entire castles were filled with Chinese and oriental furniture and objects. So during the 70s this kind of furniture was made and no 1 is the same. All elements are put on by hand, so it always has an artistic touch.
You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even inside. The front and sides depict traditionally dressed ladies walking through a traditional Chinese garden. The doors are painted inside with bamboo. There are 2 cabinet spaces, the top one which used to hold a TV and a cabinet space below with a removable shelf. In between there are 2 drawers. In short, a very nice cabinet for a bohemian or Oriental home or store.
