DESCRIPTION:
A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets date from the 1970s, a time of resurgence for Chinoiserie. This style originated in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and Oriental furniture and objects. Consequently, this type of furniture was produced during the 1970s, and no two are alike. All elements are applied by hand, ensuring it always has an artistic touch.
You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even the inside. Traditional Chinese scenes are depicted on the front and sides, featuring noble women dressed in beautiful robes in magnificent gardens with temples in the background. This is rendered using soapstone. Inside, children playing are depicted using soapstone. Bamboo is painted on the top. In short, a beautiful cabinet for a bohemian interior. DIMENSIONS:

CONDITION:
The cabinet still has its original back and all the soapstone is complete. 1 door of the cabinet has a slightly lighter color. The top has 2 light spots. A scratch on the soapstone. Some light scratches here and there. (See the last photos for a better idea of the condition)
PICK UP OR DELIVERY:
This item can be picked up at the showroom in Amsterdam South, but can also be personally delivered throughout the Netherlands and abroad. Within Amsterdam, this is charged at €50; outside Amsterdam starting from €50 (Ask for a calculation).
For delivery, an individual appointment will be made and good service will be provided, including placement at the desired location with a smile. If this product is rejected due to hidden defects or incomplete information, no costs will be charged and you will receive a refund. Should you decide to cancel the purchase for other reasons, returns will not be accepted.
WELCOME TO THE SHOWROOM: You are welcome in the 500m² showroom in Amsterdam South, opposite the UMC hospital. It is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car. It is located directly next to the A10 (ring road). The showroom is situated outside the environmental zone. Free parking for customers on the premises.
