A particularly atmospheric and richly decorated Asian bar cabinet in excellent vintage condition. Truly a beautiful cabinet.
This black lacquered cabinet features very refined, handmade inlay with a beautiful depth effect. The unique decor consists of a combination of flat mother-of-pearl (on the bamboo leaves) and detailed, three-dimensional relief carving of soapstone and bone on the large floral sections.
Layout and functionality:
The top flap is a hinged flap with an interior lined with green felt.
Drawers:
Four smoothly running drawers fitted with the authentic, original brass hardware.
Lower cabinet: A spacious lower cabinet section behind the two hinged doors.
Condition of the furniture:
The furniture is in beautiful, characteristic vintage condition and is structurally sound. As can be seen in the detailed close-up photos, the lacquer shows slight signs of age, and a small chip is missing from the fine inlay in a few places.
