Product description
This original vintage studio pottery plate element was designed by Hans Welling and handcrafted by Ceramano Ransbach-Baumbach in Germany. It has a round shape with a diameter of 25.6 cm and a beautifully shaped base element with a total height of 9 cm. The plate is covered with a hand-painted ornament and an abstract horse in classical style in the center. The coloring has been kept in blue tones that contrast beautifully with the black parts.The Pergamon design was first produced in 1959, the one offered was made in the 1960s and has a handwritten signature on the bottom.A very rare collector's item from the Ceramano collection.The simple, minimalist design from the 1970s design era.
