This vintage table lamp from France, dating from the 1960s, is a characteristic example of mid-century ceramics. The design stands out due to its robust, organic shape and the heavily textured finish typical of the Brutalist style of that period. The lamp base is crafted from ceramic and features a broad, flattened spherical shape that transitions into a slender neck. The surface displays a mottled glaze in earth tones, ranging from beige to brown, with a porous, stone-like texture. The lamp is fitted with an E27 socket and comes with a striking green and yellow fabric shade featuring a geometric polka dot pattern, creating a playful contrast with the earthy base.
